The dealer shouts and screams at people who gets confused couple of times. This is the worst casino service and environment. I would like to draw the. A sad day for the Casino Industry
The Golden Nugget Lake Charles is set to reopen for the third time since March.
The casino-resort will reopen Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. with social distancing and cleaning guidelines in place.
Owned by billionaire Tilman Fertitta, The Golden Nugget temporarily closed from March to May amid the coronavirus pandemic. It closed again as Louisiana faced a one-two punch of a duo of hurricanes in six weeks: Hurricane Laura on August 27 and Hurricane Delta on October 9.

While Delta caused minimal damage, allowing the casino to reopen within days, Laura had a larger impact.
“Laura caused some damage. It took us a couple of weeks to reopen,” The Golden Nugget Lake Charles senior vice president and general manager Gregory Hennagin told the Houston Chronicle. “We had roof and water damage. We also had damage to some of the guest rooms. The restaurants and casino floor were left relatively untouched.”
Golden Nugget Closed
Despite being closed to the public during both cyclones, the hotel and restaurants remained open. But not to paying customers.
“We’ve had more than 500 first responders and electrical workers staying with us since Laura,” said Hennagin. “They are helping to restore power and services to the area.”
The hotel has also provided temporary housing and meals for staff members.
“We have had quite a few of our employees and their families who suffered during Laura staying here,' said Hennagin. 'This has been a difficult time for folks.'
Stepping in to help, Fertitta in September donated $1 million to the Landry’s Employees of Lake Charles Relief Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The relief effort will continue through Hurricane Delta, according to a representative for Landry’s, Inc.
The trio of closings has taken an economic toll on the property.
“I don’t have a specific percentage that we are down, but it is substantial,” said Hennagin, who is looking forward to getting back to business as usual on Tuesday afternoon.
“When you come here, you won’t notice the storms. You will see the same Golden Nugget with first-class accommodations,” said Hennagin. “This year has been so tough on everyone. We are here to provide a respite.”
