Jackrabbits and Bunnies Start Delayed One Week
Attention to Jackrabbits and Bunnies participants: Due to the new health guidelines, Jackrabbits and Bunnies will be postponed by one week and will begin on the 13th of December instead of the 6th. This means that there will be only two sessions before the Holiday Break, on the 13th and 15th. The two missed classes will be moved to the end of the program in March and the program will run one week later than usual. Thanks for your patience, we are as excited to get out on the snow with the group as you are!

Accused of being a skiing & biking mecca
We’re guilty!
We can’t argue about why many visit Rossland. Many locals are hardcore alpine skiers, snowboarders, and mountain bikers, and it is one of the reasons we call Rossland home. It is also likely that at least one of those activities is drawing you here as well…and for very good reason! Halfway between Vancouver and Calgary, over 3 hours from Kelowna, and almost 3 hours from Spokane, admittedly we aren’t the easiest place to get to. But we like it that way! Our beautiful little town, steep-and-deep powder skiing/boarding, and our second to none trail systems speak for themselves, and will no doubt lure you back again and again. Stay with us at Redtop Guest Stop, and we’ll point you to the goods!
But its not ALL about the skiing and biking
Many first travel to Rossland and area due to their desire to experience the best-of-the-best alpine skiing and mountain biking. Once they arrive, however, they are often smitten with other aspects. First, the simple rugged beauty, and how Rossland has perched itself in an often pleasant, sunny, terraced, south-facing bowl high over the Columbia river valley with an assortment of views seemingly found in every direction. Many pinch themselves (we still do) as we walk along the narrow, hilly, twisting streets, simply admiring the beautiful, quaint, some say ‘quirky’ surroundings. More than just alpine skiing, snowboarding and mountain biking, Rossland and the area offers many other activities to keep you busy!
